Nick Oxendale

Architecture and Landscape Project Designer

Nick enjoys holistic projects that sustainably design around the site and landscape. Projects that rigorously research the natural landscape in the initial phases create a more cohesive design that blends the exterior and interior environments. Nick is especially passionate about biophilic design along with restoring and revitalizing natural systems.

Prior to his work in design, Nick was a personal trainer and group fitness instructor for over four years. He taught "F45", "Kettlebells," "Bootcamp," HIIT classes, "CrossFit," sometimes Silver Sneakers, and more.

Nick graduated from West Virginia University with a Bachelor's in Landscape Architecture and he earned a Master's in Architecture from Clemson University in 2023.

Nick loves recreation and sports. He ran cross country in college and you can find him whitewater rafting in West Virginia on the travel channel. Nick also loves his golden retriever, Gracie!

While it is not a building or garden, Nick loves the "Wild Mile" in the North Branch Canal of the Chicago River. It's the world's first mile-long "floating eco-park." The community-driven project revitalized the artificial canal and created a new environment for habitat, recreation, and education for the public.
