High Design For Horses

Twenty very comfortable horses thrive in this custom stone-and-wood stable.

This two-winged horse barn boasts three distinct cupolas along a linear axis. In the center, a grand entrance features a gabled roof with double sliding doors for horses as well as an entrance for people.

Overhanging eaves add an eye-catching and unique architectural element, provide ample coverage and shade, and blend the indoor and outdoor space seamlessly. You can comfortably circumnavigate the barn while being protected from the weather.

A warm, natural color pallet invites you in. Inside, tall stone walls, carefully-thought dark wood structure and accents, and high-end cobblestone flooring give you a luxurious yet down-to-earth feeling.

Twenty dormers and a clerestory above each of the cupolas bring in ample natural light, so your equine friends can enjoy the gentle filter of outdoor sunshine while still having ample shelter. Along with the state-of-the-art lighting, natural and mechanical sources of ventilation contribute to the healthy living space that your horses deserve.

World-Class Horse Care

Each stall provides access to the outdoors through open-air shutters that easily button up in inclement weather. Inside, you’ll have state-of-the-art heating, water feed lines with heat trace to avoid freezing, and unique stall setups that make maintenance a breeze.

The barn boasts 20 horse stalls, a complete tack room, feed storage, grounds keeper’s office, and everything you need to seamlessly care for your animals.

Extra tall sliding barn doors on either side of the stable enable you to move big equipment in and out of the space with ease, making it the perfect space for loading in hay and feed.

State-of-the-Art Technology Meets Classic Architectural Design

“We wanted to create a warm, inviting space that has all of the comforts of modern luxury horse properties while at the same time giving the feeling of a solid and stable aesthetic,” says award-winning architect Devin Kimmel.

“The interior elements use rich colors and textures as well as the latest in luxury finishes for an interior space that’s built to last for generations,” he explains.

Energy-efficient systems such as LED lighting, the latest horse care tech, and intelligent mechanical design bring modern elements to the beautifully crafted luxury horse barn. This truly is a Technology-Meets-Time-Honored-Equestrian-Traditions horse barn.

This horse barn responds to the site by taking advantage of both natural light and abundant grazing opportunities for the horses. A fence around the stable enables animals to roam freely outdoors.

For equestrians, the attached riding ring allows for training, exercise, and enjoying time together with the horses. A seamless blend of indoor and outdoor spaces responds to the local environment to establish an excellent environment for the horses.

The luxury horse barn brings the best of the newest equestrian technology to time-honored equestrian architectural traditions.
