Ryan C. McDonald

Ryan received his Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Maryland and completed The Harvard Graduate School of Design Discovery Program in 2017. Ryan has also studied abroad in Castellamare Di Stabia, Italy with the In The Shadow of Vesuvius Study Abroad Program. Ryan is excited to be designing custom residential projects with Kimmel Studio. “I have always enjoyed custom residential projects. Whether it is renovations, remodels, or completely new designs, it is always beautiful to create space for people based on the way they want to live or what they want to change.”

When asked about his favorite building or garden, Ryan responded with the Glenstone Museum in Potomac, Maryland “The architecture of the museum and the way it plays directly with the landscape of the outdoor exhibits have always been really nice to spend the day in. I also love their installation choices and the artist they shed light on.”

When Ryan is not at work in the studio, he is a huge fan of live music and enjoys spending time on the water boating, jet skiing, and kayaking when the weather is right!
